Hosted in Falkenstein, DE · Never in the US

The EU-owned alternative to Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace

Documents, sheets, slides, drawing and an AI writing coach — all built for the classroom, made by Danes and hosted 100% in the EU. Stop choosing between modern tools and digital sovereignty.

Why this matters for your school right now

Multiple Danish supervisory rulings have restricted Chromebooks and Workspace in local authorities. Several councils have pulled the plug. We're built so it never becomes your problem.

Danish DPA 2022

Helsingør Council

Google Workspace use was paused after a risk-assessment demand. Many schools ended up with expensive workarounds.

Danish DPA 2024

Aarhus & the Chromebook debate

Schools were ordered to stop transferring pupil data to third countries. We simply never store anything outside the EU.

EU sovereignty 2026

Council guidance

More councils now require “EU-only” in new tenders. We are already compliant — with no extra work.

Built to replace what pupils actually use from Microsoft and Google.

AI without data leakage

Our AI never sees the pupil's name

Every AI call first runs through our serverless funktion, which pseudonymises and routes to EU endpoints.

Pseudonymise first

Pupil names are replaced with “Pupil A” before the prompt leaves our serverless funktion.

EU residency endpoints

OpenAI EU + Gemini Hetzner fsn1. No US routing.

Zero Data Retention

Our OpenAI agreement enables ZDR — nothing is retained at the model provider.

No training on pupils' work

Neither prompts nor responses are used to train models.

Migration path

From Office or Workspace in 5 steps

  1. 1Import .docx, .xlsx and .pptx — comments and structure preserved
  2. 2Pull files out of OneDrive or Google Drive in a few clicks
  3. 3Keep existing folders — we mirror your class structure from Aula/STIL
  4. 4Teachers see the same class in both tools during the transition
  5. 5Pupils carry on with the same document — just with us, in the EU

School leader FAQ

Can we open existing Office files?+

Yes — we import .docx, .xlsx and .pptx directly and preserve formatting, comments and styles in most cases. Complex Word macros and Excel VBA are not supported.

What about Teams and Google Meet?+

We have our own live classroom, remote teaching and co-browse for 1:1 help — also 100% EU-hosted. Many schools run us alongside Teams during a transition period.

Where are backups?+

Encrypted daily S3 backup in Hetzner Object Storage (S3-compatible bucket) at Hetzner hel1 (Helsinki, FI) — covers database, Supabase Storage files and serverless funktion logs, 30-day retention. Point-in-time recovery on the database. All in EU (DE/FI) — no US replication.

Can a local authority mandate use across all its schools?+

Yes — we are typically sold per local authority as part of the digital strategy. Several councils chose us specifically to move away from US services after supervisory authority rulings.

What if we want to go back to Microsoft or Google?+

Every pupil and every class can be exported as a ZIP of .docx, .xlsx and .pptx files. No lock-in.

Start a pilot in one class — this week

We set the pilot class up in 1 day, import existing documents and run for 4 weeks alongside your current tools.
