Real-world bridges

Three ways to leave the screen — without leaving learning.

Inspired by Osmo, Labster and PhET — built clean-room, GDPR-safe and routed through our own OpenAI and Gemini keys.

Why hands-on, why now

Folkeskoleloven §3 stk. 3 puts 'varied and practical teaching' at the heart of the school. Screen-only platforms fight that goal. We bridge it.

Concrete before abstract

Pupils touch, see or stand in front of the object before it lands in a worksheet. The Danish curriculum calls this 'phenomenon-based learning' — we build the bridge.

Outdoor-school ready

Designed to work without Wi-Fi in the forest and playground — offline queue, sync when signal returns.

No third-party tracking

Camera, GPS and microphone used only on demand with permission. No route history. No facial recognition. No ad SDKs.

Counts in My learning

Every scan, every simulation and every outdoor task lands in the pupil's knowledge map and awards XP — just like everything else on the platform.

How we differ

We took the best ideas from the category and rebuilt them clean-room — for Danish folkeskole and UK state schools.

Osmo

Requires iPad + physical plastic reflector. We just use the camera.

Labster

Heavy VR app, expensive licenses, English-only. We run in the browser, Danish-first.

PhET

Excellent sims, but no pupil tracking, no curriculum tagging, no AI coach.

Geocaching

Built for hobbyists — no teacher overview, no curriculum loop, no school GDPR DPA.

FAQ

How much does it cost extra?

Nothing. Hands-on learning is included in every school and municipality subscription. You only pay the standard per-pupil license — and the AI usage runs on our own OpenAI and Gemini keys.

Which devices do pupils need?

Any modern phone, tablet or Chromebook with a camera and browser. We support iOS 15+, Android 10+, ChromeOS, iPadOS and Windows tablets. No app install required.

What about GDPR and parental consent?

All three tools are covered by the school's central data processing agreement. For pupils under 13, camera and GPS use requires explicit parental consent — recorded in child_data_consents and revocable at any time.

Can I turn the AI off?

Yes. The school admin can disable the AI coach per subject or per year group. The sim and scan tools still work — just without the generated micro-lesson.

All AI runs on our own keys

OpenAI for vision and reasoning, Gemini for image generation — never via a third-party gateway. Every prompt is scrubbed for PII and rejected on leak detection.
