When wellbeing wobbles, the help arrives before the alarm.
Parent wellbeing shows a gentle nudge — not an alert. When today's mood is 2 or below, or there have been 3+ low days in 30, the app suggests a chat and hands you age-appropriate openers.
What's new
Clear trigger, gentle tone
Today's mood ≤ 2, or 3+ low days in 30. No red flashes — a kind nudge inside the parent overview.
Age-appropriate openers
Openers that match the child's age. You don't need to know how to start — we offer three different angles.
Per child — even with siblings
Parents with multiple children see the trend per child (day-by-day chart) and the trigger card addresses the child by name.
KPI strip at a glance
Checked today · 7-day average · low days in 30 · last check. Parents orient in 3 seconds.
Deep link to wellbeing tab
Tap 'Talk with child' and the child's profile opens straight in the wellbeing tab. No menu maze.
Quiet, secure realtime
Check-in data flows over a private realtime channel per parent. No retention at the AI provider, no third-party sharing.
Examples from the classroom
Wednesday evening
Two quiet days and an afternoon behind a closed bedroom door. The parent opens the app, sees 'Talk with Astrid', and uses the opener over supper.
Siblings
One twin has three low days, the other is calm. The parent only sees the trigger for the first child — and knows where to put their energy.
Security & compliance
Never an alert to school
The trigger is private to the parent. The school doesn't see the trigger status; the class wellbeing survey runs separately with k≥5 aggregation.
Under 13: parental consent
AI personalisation for pupils under 13 requires explicit parental consent. It's handled in the consent module.
Frequently asked questions
Will we be spammed with messages?
No. The trigger only appears when the pattern is real. Once the child has had a few good days, the card disappears entirely.
Does it replace the school psychologist?
No. It's an everyday parent tool. Safeguarding cases and PPR referrals run on their own track — separate from this.
