What leave types does the module cover?

Holiday days, carer's days, child's 1st-2nd sick day, senior days, time-off-in-lieu, training days and 'other leave'. The list can be extended per school in settings.

How does approval link to the schedule?

When a request is approved, the system creates a 'cover-needed' slot in every affected lesson for up to 8 weeks ahead. Reversing the request cleans them up.

Does it count towards the annual norm automatically?

Yes. Holidays and time-off-in-lieu count against teaching time, while training days count towards development time. The module sits on top of the A20 framework.

Can a teacher see their own history?

Yes — under 'My profile' the teacher sees all their own requests and statuses. No one sees others' requests without union-rep or leader role.
