Frequently asked questions
Where does the VARK data come from?
From a 28-question test the pupil takes in their profile. The test can be retaken at any time, and teachers can see when it was last taken.
Is the test pedagogically valid?
VARK is a widely used learning preference model (not a fixed personality trait). We use it to vary materials — not to lock a pupil into one approach.
Can the teacher override the style?
Yes. The teacher can add a note on the pupil profile, and the Class Fit feature always takes the teacher's own adaptations into account.
What do parents see?
Parents see their own child's primary style and a progress-by-style section in the weekly report — not other pupils' styles.
How do you handle GDPR & adgangskontrol?
Learning style is protected by the same Row-Level Security rules as all other pupil data. A teacher only sees styles for pupils in their own classes; a parent only sees their own child.
