Zones, rooms & kiosks your physical after-school on the platform
Reuse the school's existing rooms from the timetable, add after-school zones such as 'Yard' or 'Workshop', and generate token-protected kiosks per entry point. Live presence per location matches recognised guidance on transparent supervision in out-of-school settings.
Reuses school rooms
Same room data as the timetable. Delete a room once — it's gone everywhere.
Zones beyond rooms
Yard, hall, art studio — places that aren't classrooms but where kids actually are.
Color per location
Every tile has its color on the kiosk and the staff live view. Visual at a glance.
Kiosks per entry
Create one kiosk per iPad/screen. Each kiosk has its own token — link opens without login.
Token-based security
Rotate the token anytime. Old token dies instantly — no anonymous check-ins from strange devices.
Live presence per location
Staff see presence grouped per tile. 'Where's Anna?' — two seconds, no walking around.
How to set it up
- 1. School → After-school → Zones — create 'Yard', 'Workshop', etc.
- 2. School → After-school → Locations — pick which rooms and zones appear on the kiosk, and color each
- 3. School → After-school → Kiosks — create one kiosk per entry, copy the generated link
- 4. Open the link on an iPad/screen in full-screen — it loads tiles via a secure, anonymous the system
- 5. Test: tap a name → tile → confirm. The staff live view updates instantly
In the classroom
Leader maps the after-school
Picks 6 rooms from the timetable + adds 'Yard' and 'Hall' as zones. Done in 5 minutes.
Pedagogue sets up the kiosk iPad
Generates token, opens the link on the iPad — kiosk shows tiles, ready for the first child.
Room changes mid-year
Workshop becomes music room. Change once — kiosk updates tiles without restart.
Two audiences, one tool
Reuse room data from the timetable — one source of truth for school and after-school. No double maintenance.
Live presence per tile: 'Where's Anna?' takes two seconds, not a walk through the building.
