After-school — Phase 2

Enrolment & waitlist parents in two clicks, automatic place assignment

Parents enrol their child from the parent portal. Status, notice period and positional waitlist are handled by the system — the secretary is done with the Excel queue. Audit trail on every change meets statutory documentation requirements.

Contact

Parent self-service

The parent picks module and start date. Confirmation and receipt flow through the Notification Center.

Status lifecycle

Active → paused → resigned. Dates are auditable, and cancellation can happen mid-month.

Notice period

Set the school's notice (e.g. 30 days). The system computes the actual end date — no manual math.

Positional waitlist

Position 1, 2, 3 — transparent to the parent. When a place frees up, the next moves up automatically.

Pause without losing the place

Child on a long trip? Pause it — the place is reserved, billing pauses.

Notifications on everything

Enrolment, waitlist promotion, cancellation — all sent via the notification system parents already use.

How to set it up

  • 1. Activate the modules (see Phase 1: Modules & pricing)
  • 2. Set the school's notice period under School → After-school → Settings
  • 3. Share the parent link or QR via the messages module
  • 4. Parents enrol — places or waitlist positions are assigned automatically
  • 5. Monitor 'Enrolments' and 'Waitlist' in the after-school console

In the classroom

Parent enrols Liva

Dad opens the app, picks 'Afternoon club', sets start 1 Aug. Place confirmed — confirmation via email.

Liva moves up to grade 4

Liva is auto-cancelled 31 Jul with 30 days notice. Place frees up, next in waitlist moves up.

The secretary gets her life back

No more Excel, no queue emails, no 'I thought we cancelled'. Audit trail on every change.

Two audiences, one tool

For the secretary

No Excel queue, no 'I thought we cancelled' — status lifecycle and audit trail resolve everyday disputes.

For the parent

Enrol in two clicks, see waitlist position live, pause the place for longer travel. End of the back-and-forth queue emails.
